many years ago I know someone who bought an E36 M3, that was 'ex demo'.... he was flicking through an old copy of Motor magazine, and there was his car (same number plates) on 2 wheels going around Calder Park - it was an ex-press car.
I also know of a couple of people who's 'executive driven' MINI's were ex Driver Training cars.

'Executive driven' usually means 'track day special'.
