my new beauty keyed last nite
my beautiful new sapphire black 128i was keyed last nite in hollywood.
both side panels, basically the entire right side of the car. anybody have any advice for me here? body shops in la region? should i go to the dealer? i went to one body shop in west la and they said they would blend a foot-wide length of paint in where the key markings were and it would cost 1350 expensive party i went to |

Sorry to hear that. I went through something similar months ago and I'm still not over the anger.
I also have BSM. Got the door painted, and a few months later got the door re-buffed as I could see an outline of where the work on the door was done. You'll have to inspect the paint job at different times in the day as the sun changes elevation and of course have it face the same side of your car. When you pick up your car it'll look good to the bare eye but if possible, have them shine their lights on it and move them around slowly at different angles. It really isn't as easy as you'll hear about color matching BSM. Good luck. |
