Just Purchased 2008 135i

So I just picked up a 2008 BMW 135i and I could not be happier so far with my purchase. As far as mods go I know that there is an aFe Intake and I actually just found out yesterday that it also came with the previous owners JB4 installed still which I was pretty excited to find out. Let me know what you guys think and give me any feedback on what I could do to keep it in tip top shape!

get the head scoped and possibly do a walnut blast if its nasty dirty in there. Nice pickup.

Congrats! It also looks like it's been lowered.

Clean car. JB4 is awesome.

Looks like it's lowered, I'd take a look at the springs/dampers. Also has a BMW Performance (rep?) spoiler on it. Can't tell if it's carbon fiber or black.

Ya so far everybody that's seen it has said they think it looks lowered too. I definitely am going to bring it somewhere to take a look and see exactly what is done to the car but so far I am absolutely in love

Yeah definitely check the springs/struts, its lowered for sure! Great pick up, I would love to find an intake, JB4 and suspension without knowing when I bought it

Lol ya believe me I was getting nervous my gauges were going crazy and I thought the whole ECU was all sorts of messed up and then to find out it had the JB4 installed I was definitely pretty hyped. I'm definitely going to bring it to an independent shop and get it looked at and then if all checks out I wanna put it on the dyno and see how the numbers are so we shall see

Congrats man! Semi modded is both good and possibly bad, not knowing the history of the previous owner. Either way, your a couple steps ahead of stock!
My car had came with H&R's. It took taking the car to the dealer for its final warranty check up to discover them. Haha.

Nice pickup! If you drive it hard, wait for the engine to warm up....and don't turn the engine off immediately after a session of driving hard.

Got it up on a lift yesterday and took a look underneath the car. Everything looked great with no damage to anything but I did find another mod done to the car. The previous owner had installed a midpipe onto the exhaust as well and did the golf tee mod, along with having Eibach springs installed on there so you guys were obviously spot on with it being lowered. Next step is to get the dampeners and shocks checked to make sure everything is good to go there but so far everything is looking good.

Definitely a nice purchase, already has a good start on modifications without being too over the top.

JB4 & charge pipe are the next two modifications headed to my car

I run Eibach Pro-Kit springs with my stock M-Sport dampeners. It rides good and they seem to handle the springs well. I'll eventually upgrade to coilovers, but I think you'll be alright.

Did the car have downpipes, or a midpipe?

Washed and waxed it the other day, came out pretty good now just need a couple little things here and there and it'll be exactly how I'm envisioning it.

Looks like you've got black kidneys and painted gloss black diffuser.

Enjoy the car!
