My new R6 eater

hey there everyone, so to start off I wish I could take credit for this build but I can't nor won't. Everything after this post though, is all my doing .

first I had a E46 325i 4 years ago and I absolutely loved it. I did some work to it but nothing crazy, a few mods being good O'l raceland coilovers, LED builds, smoked out side markers and corners, LED tails, angle eyes, and a K&N intake.

It was a great car but I wanted something faster and cheaper, so me being 21 I sold my slow 325i and picked up a highly modified 240sx. Ever since I drove that 405whp 240 I fell in love with turbo cars even more so. This car was a true yamaha R6 eater. I ran this car against some of my buddies with zx6r's and r6's and I was always hanging right there with them.

unfortunately, it was in the middle of a 4 car accident and the insurance only valued the car at about $4K. Moving on with my love for cars and missing the power and sound of a turbo car I waited and waited and waited. Until my patience was rewarded when the opportunity came up to purchase Eddies beautiful 135i from El Monte, CA.
so off to Cali

I meet with eddie the night my girlfriend and I flew into LA, we Drove up some mountain roads to see the cars handling and its quickness. the sound of the twin turbos and BOV brought me back and I fell in love again after it was all said and done, 2 days later it was on a tailer coming to her new home in orlando FL.

I'm so blessed to be able to have this car and have nothing but more speed planed and getting back to being the r6 eater my 240sx was. This is truly an amazing car with a good build, can't wait to start adding my own touches to the car to make it sound out even more in the sunshine state. So here she is if you haven't seen the car already

I hope everyone enjoyed the read and all the pics.
*** ALSO SORRY FOR ALL THE PICS GUYS

When I saw this car for sale I already thought it was really nicely modded. Seeing the pictures now, my opinion hasn't changed! I really dig that trunk!

Very curious to see what you will do to her! Good luck!

Right now I'm recovering from having her shiped and the trip. But I'll keep this thread updated, I love this trunk too. It was the main selling point hahaha

Coming from a nissan s15 all I can say is that I empathise with you in your decision making.

They say once experienced....
girls can never go backwards in terms of lifestyle,
guys can never go backwards in terms of sex enjoyment (and fast cars!)

^haha.

What performance mods are done to make this an r6 eater? Why is an r6 the benchmark for your performance?

performance mods are..
- Cobb Accessport V3
- Riss Racing Catless Downpipes
- CP-E Midpipes with resonator and Stealth Pipe
- Custom Built Fully Functional Quad Exhaust (Quad CP-E 3.5" Black Chrome Double Wall Tips)
- Spearco Code3 (Dinan) Intercooler
- AFE Enclosed box Stage 2 Intake
- STETT Charge Pipe with TiAL Blow Off Valve
- Cooling Mist Meth kit ( never installed )
over all my goal is 400+ whp thats what the 240 was and that is where i want to get to , although the 240 was a lot lighter than this 1. it needs to be re-dynoed and re-tuned, here in FL we carry 93.

the r6 thing was a joke between my uncle and I, he put ton of money into his supra to make it very very light and fast. theres no way I can turn this 1 into an R1 eater. it very well could be an m3 eater
