I highly doubt you could run a 10 second pass in your car. Would like to be proven wrong but don't think it'll happen.

It will happen

Dzenno did 11.438 years ago in a manual e90, rb turbos, lsd, kwv2 suspension and 17 inch wheels with drag radials. Redline mt90 transmission fluid. 275 rear tyres

1/4 Mile ET:11.438
1/4 Mile MPH:125.060
1/8 Mile ET:7.463
1/8 Mile MPH:99.570
0-60 Foot ET:1.795

Just need someone that knows how to drive to get a 10 second pass. With extra hp and boost by gear to help drop that time.

Yes it will eventually in a MT however WSID is rarely prepped properly. They only get the track ready for the real drag racing events which isn't too often.

and will last about 50 passes at best under that power and that's if your gearbox is healthy in the first place

Still have to hook up the NLS/2 step and should see very low 11's. or even maybe a high 10

Still got more tuning and temps where through the roof at the track.

Cant wait for winter temps.

Logs are good, but IATs are crazy (175F - 80°C).

as you can see, timing is lowered as soon as IATs raise above 130F, compared to lower gears (target is 12.5° up top), because of those too high IATs. that's the way the flash protect your engine from knock because of way too high IATs.

you could get better ET with meth to keep IATs under control (and no timing corrections) and a NLS to keep boost during upshift.

The ambient temps where very high, meth would have helped.

But I rather tune the car in extreme conditions and later add meth for safety.

I don't want to rely on meth for cooling.

I have the NLS/2 step but because I was trying to fix the error code I was getting, I ran out of time to fit it.

Need to get a hobs switch to wire the stage 3 lpfp to it as you cant use nls while the jb4 controls the lpfp

The problem with meth is when controlled by the jb4 I can't use the ethanol sensor in the jb4 mobile app.

So its either nls or stage 3 lpfp and its either meth or ethanol sensor.

Hmm high iats are always gonna be an issue in warm weather.. Gotta somehow keep it below 120 if possible even 100. Other than that yeah winter is not far away..

It was 32c last night and it did fine, it's not like this
type of racing can be done on the road nor will be.

Once the temps drop so will the times

Great result anyway especially in the heat

As always thanks David aka trebila for all your tuning efforts

wow! Which intercooler are you running? Those IATs are very high, even considering the hot temperatures.

There should be a better way to control the IATs!

Please note, I don't own a 135i (yet), and I'm new to the platform. I am assuming IATs are measured post intercooler but pre TB.

If you want low iat's go with a big single, I would love one on my car.

It would be so much easier to tune in terms of trims at low rpm and the transition between Di and Pi

Sounds like the turbos are out of their efficiency range if producing that much heat. Or a water to air cooler.

I never saw that type of IATs on my old 49lb/min turbo at 27psi on a smallish tube and fin fmic on a 40c day. Now with a bigger turbo and a water to air I should be near ambient no matter what.
