AW 1M On Coro Drive this morning around 9:15, I think IA 10 numberplates.

And then I saw a Grey 135i with Carbon wing on Kingsford Smith Drv around midday.

Yep. If anyone in Brisbane (or anywhere else for that matter) sees this car, please report it to the police ASAP. Car was stolen from Kangaroo Pt Cliffs this afternoon.

just wondering how was it stolen??

Would you want it to be found? I thought if my car was stolen I rather it get stolen and not be found. or if they did find it make sure it's burnt or destroyed completely then you get a nice pay out figure.

Apparently the owner was selling it and the person took it for a test drive and never came back...

I don't know any more details about this one but I have heard in the past of someone providing a stolen license and leaving a stolen car with the owner when they take the test drive...

Yea for sure and same for an accident would rather a write off than big damage.

But the fucked thing is is they dont make the 135i anymore so I would be pissed if my car got stolen cause I ordered everything specific.

I did not know some people don't accompany the driver on private sales...

When I went to test drive my 135 the owner handed me the keys and said "go for it"

So there's that
I guess some people are just exceptionally trusting :/

If someone wants your car, they'll take it, whether you're there makes no difference to them.
I'd rather be at home waiting for an insurance cheque than lying on the side of the road with a screw driver stuck in my chest.

Don't forget Insurance is not cover when the is car is actually part of a "test drive" for buying and selling
