Backend Flash
Is anyone running backend flash and can share their experience with the differences before and after the flash?
I only have mild mods - downpipes, n55 mid pipe, JB4 which I usually leave on map 5. Just wondering if it's worth doing the flash and whether to do it myself or get a workshop to do it. Are there any workshops in Perth anyone can recommend? |

i have been running various different revisions since September last year.
If you intend on running mixes of E85, its pretty much essential (p.s. RUN E85, the difference is night and day!). I recommend if you have an android phone, purchasing the MHD app. This will allow you to run the backend flashes for use with JB4. |

alot of people who do the backend flash, complain that the car seems less responsive at lower throttle. This is because the throttle mapping is changed to make power delivery more smooth instead of just hitting you in the face.
its up to you, doing the flash gives you more tuning parameters should you want to go down that path, generally having the flash controlling the fueling is also going to be more beneficial to you as well, rather than the JB4. |

hell yes going from 98 to a e85 custom tuned map will yield at least 20-30 rwkw!
I made 310 rwkw with just a fmic, cp, bmw pe, dp's running e30 on a ots cobb map. With E50 and a custom tune I now could be 320-330? |
