Adult Onezie Build Thread
I've been seeing some amazing build threads for the 135 on here. Its got me excited to start my own and give mine its own identity. This platform is very very new to me. I came from the Evo-World, haven own an Evo X for about 3 years. I am still the president of an Evo club in the Mid-Atlantic region lol. Ooh my Evo..... you wanna see it...... okay sure, since you asked i have pictures.
Many faces: On Advan RZs The it was sold And I got this It was too slow and something influenced me to get an SUV which i had for about 7 months But I just wanted to go fast again plus Jeeps suck! So I got back "in the game" in Feb. and picked up my 09 135i M- sport 6MT First mod was Cobb AP and BMS DCI. I had Cobb AP on my Evo so it was a no-brainer to get it for this car too BMS Angel Eyes added a few weeks later ARK exhaust added (Still with Temp tags) Mod Bug bit me hard Dyno..... because RaceKor |

It seemed that once i got my 1'er, i started seeing more on the road so i had to "set mine apart from the rest". Best way to do that is............ WHEEEEELLLLLZZZZZZ!!!!
Klutch SL-5 18x8.5(f) 18x9.5(r) mmmmmmmm...... Lips flush Next is: Stud kit (sitting on my counter) Open ended lug nuts (Arriving tomorrow) Roll Fenders (one day) Coilovers (Next Month) Front Lip and trunk spoiler from somewhere, still looking. I Do car detailing and am looking to keep this thread very much updated like the other guys. I know i don't have much now but gotta start somewhere. Look forward to learning and stalking you other guy's builds. I really like this car, its super fun and can really be made into an aggressive looking car. but when I am not in my Onezie I am straddling.... Gixx 6. Oh you want pictures of that too.....suuuuure no problem Last edited by Onezie; 05-13-2013 at 08:02 PM.. |

how's the evo compared to the 135 drive and speed wise? |

It took a lot for me not to get back into the Evo. But I had it for too long and done too much to it, i really didnt want to start all over again with the same car. The handling of the Evo is like no other, even stock. AWD is a plus in the snow as well. I was at 360 awhp and 354 tq in my Evo, very quick but the short gear ratio was annoying and 5 gears on the highways was a pain in the ass cruising at almost 6k rpm lol. I think when I get coilovers and Front Sway bar, i may be satisfied with the 135 as far as handling. The Evo was "quicker" but this 135 with just about 3 mods feels all out faster. It just feels like a little beast. They are really really different but i like the look, comfortability, sound, and response to mods a lot better in the 135 than the Evo X. I still roll with my Evo crew so I get to test the ultimate driving machine a lot against the 4 bangaz

Today I got my fenders rolled and had an Apex 75mm Stud conversion kit installed paired with Muteki SR48 Neo-Chromed Open ended lug nuts. And last night I installed LCI Taillights. I like the blackline ones but I think the OEM looks better on dark cars especially with the light wheels.

I test fitted the bumper and it fit like a glove. Dropped the parts off to be painted today. Hopefully have them back by Friday and install them then. |
