exhaust BOLTS spring loaded

Hi

I am fitting my agency power exhaust today and was wondering how tight do the spring loaded exhaust bolts have to be -

do you take them all the way until you hit the stop , or should they be backed off to allow for thermal growth?

On my aftermarket exhaust I don't even have spring bolts, just bolt, but and washers.

You shouldn't crank them all the way to the end though. There is a specific torque rating you are meant to tighten it to but you'll need the BMW TIS or Bentley manual to know that.
