Does anyone know if LHD mirrors can be installed and coded to suit RHD cars?

Nope, have a look at the angle your passenger side mirror has to your car and then look at your driver side mirror. RHD <> LHD are the exact opposites.

Had a RHD mirror fitted to my LHD car for 3 days and they mechanically can't get set to the right angle.

Physically they have to be the same and fit!

My concern is whether the LHD driver side with auto reverse dip, can be coded to the LHD passenger side (essentially being my RHD driver side with working auto reverse dip).

Physically RHD and LHD mirrors are not the same. But they fit.
As I said, the angles differ from RHD and LHD. Had both sets and you'll realize when you have an RHD and LHD mirror for the same side (e.g. LEFT) next to each other. Theres nothing you can correct with coding.
