A/c works only on passenger side

Recently it feels like my a/c quit working again. I made that comment and my wife in the passenger seat said no I am freezing! So I reached my hand over to the passenger side dash vents and it is blowing out ice cold, where on myside it feels like it is just blowing outside air. It does this with max a/c selected, my side turned down to 60 degrees and so forth. Anyone else had this issue?

A quick google search reviled this is a BMW symptom for low refrigerant? I just had the system charged at the bmw dealer a couple months ago while it was under the 3 month dealer warranty, they said if a leak was found it would be fixed, if not I would get charged for a system recharge. Well they found no leaks at the time, so maybe it is time to bring it back (now its out of their 3 months warranty, but I am sure I can be convincing enough for them to cover it). Does this seem like the cause of my issue?

not trying to put Salt on the wound but remember I told you there has to be a leak somewhere, maybe too small to be detected by BMW (who just use a dye or sniff test, which only detects big leaks). freon doesn't just disappear over few month. anyways, BMW should change it for you for free, don't let them make you pay.

Low freon grab a refill kit and this should solve your problem
