PSI Presents 4ward Motion: Chasing The Horizon
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com It feels strange to think back to the end of this past June, when we took delivery of our highly anticipated F82 M4 in Sakhir Orange. Informally dubbed the Sakhir Inferno, the car quickly won us over, and we set off down a carefully planned road, with the first major stop being the SEMA Show in November. Rather than simply ship our M4 Club Sport back to Florida, we instead envisioned a cross country journey from coast to (nearly) coast, beginning in the beautiful state of California. The purpose of this extended trip was primarily to test out the prototype BC Racing coilover system and fine-tune the settings under various driving conditions, but of course it would be a crime not to create a collection of stirring photos in several truly memorable locations along the way. We also made a film of our travels, please take a look and let us know what you think. ***VIDEO RECAP*** 1. Los Angeles, CA Departing Las Vegas, we piloted the car to sunny Los Angeles for a few great shoots, and to show the car some big city life. Some of you may recognize these and other iconic spots during our travels. Photographers seem to love Lower Grande, so who were we to disappoint? 2. Helendale, CA We continued through Helendale, a truly remote place with spectacular vistas. The serene majesty takes your breath away. 3. Mojave National Preserve The desert can seem like a wasteland to some, but there are sunsets and scenery you will never see anywhere else in the world. 4. Selena, UT Heading into Utah, the mountains rose, the air thinned out, and we were glad for forced induction. This is yet a different type of terrain for the Club Sport suspension to be subjected to, and we were eager to see how our build would cope with the stresses of extreme terrain. 5. Ferron, UT This was canyon country. When we weren’t gaping at the sheer cliff faces, the winding pavement beckoned to us. It takes stronger people than us to resist that kind of call! 6. Moab, UT Even as the roads got tighter, with constant elevation and directional changes, the M4 stayed planted and compliant. Driving through here was every bit as fun as it looks like. 7. Boulder, CO If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to drive through one of those snowy pine postcards from Colorado, this is the place to do it. Citizens of this beautiful state, we envy you in many ways, starting with those views to die for. 8. Byers, CO Thirsty car, thirsty drivers. What would a road trip be without the isolated gas station shot? Eastbound and down! 9. Hays, KS The flat, endless plains of Kansas are perfect for wind farms, with their giant propeller generators. It seemed to also be the perfect backdrop for a few photos. 10. Manchester, TN It is never difficult to find a scenic place to shoot in Tennessee. There is so much foliage and humidity, it is almost an evergreen state. With the sun setting, a whole new atmosphere emerges. 11. Atlanta, GA Our last major checkpoint before arriving back home in Winter Park. Fans of The Walking Dead may see a familiar sight here, along with a few other urban locations. We hope you enjoyed taking this visual journey with us! Driving our M4 Club Sport across the country was an unforgettable experience, and testing the various components to the limit gave us some valuable feedback for future use. Stay tuned for the next step as we continue to chase the horizon. Special thanks to BC Racing and Vorsteiner for all their help in making this possible! Click here for high-res gallery. I've been following this build closely, and always admired the work you put in this car.
There are some incredible pictures and this one will always be in my top 5 F8x's. Congrats and looking forward to see what more you have planned. |

Often time the word epic get thrown around too often but in this case it's truely is epic. Mazing pictures and a very tastefully modded car, plus one for no rear perfomance m spoiler.
