Wednesday morning is when I go in to have some PDR guru attempt to sort my roof out. Hopefully without having to redo any of the vinyl work.
In other news: Update Got my new wheels ordered today |

Just don't forget to have a little fun what wheels did you go for? |

I haven't pushed it much, because I wanted to get rid of the soft suspension and awful RFTs before I really got into the exploring

No, that's the same gloss black vinyl that's on the roof. Not sure what company actually makes it, 3M perhaps

Wow! Where did you get them from?
I've been looking for a reputable distributor in San Diego and I not sure which one has these! Please PM your dealer and the size you chose. I have the stock 261 wheels.
Great to see these incredible tires! Warm Regards, fancyfli1ght

I got them from Long Beach, a company called Performance Plus Tire. Only 1 day shipping to San Diego. I'm going with a square wheel setup, so the sizes are only 225/40-18 and 235/40-18, for stock wheels you might be able to run the 255/35-18 in the rear.

Courtesy (yet again) of Dan at United BMW:
Knowing that something changed in 2010/2011 for the 135is (regardless of using the same frequency), I felt it best to stick to OEM parts. And a few random photos courtesy of the Happy Cow Car Wash |

Just north of $300 from Dan, with free shipping. Pretty expensive compared to non-OEM units, but I didn't want to have to do it again if the sensors didn't work with the new system.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
Wow! Speedline Marmora. Super wheels. Are they TUV certified? At 20 lbs, they are light.

TUV certified, and pretty light; especially compared to stock. I think I'm the only 1-series to be running these that I've seen. Haven't even seen hardly any other cars with them, save for a Subaru and a Ford. |
