Quite.

Both Jason's review and mine covered the issues supposedly not covered. And there is no "forced journalism" involved regarding the driving experience. I did slightly skate over the bodywork modifications on the basis that since BMW hasn't shown the car in full yet, they'd probably rather I didn't give a minutely detailed description of every vent and bulge, which I am perfectly happy to respect (not least because it would be tedious to write and read). But the driving experience was as stated. It was a pity it was raining quite so hard, but I'm sure BMW didn't arrange that...

One curiosity I noted after the event was that none of us were ever asked to show our driving licences - they appeared to just assume we had them...

The throws are much shorter and the engagement feels very precise. Out there on the wet roads, we could definitely feel the LSD kicking in.
Sounds like the same sport mode button that is in the E39 M5. Throttle angle increase delta and steering weight enhanced.

Because we obviously were not allowed to take pictures, let alone post them of a car which has not yet been officially unveiled....

are you kidding? this car is so easy to heel and toe. pedal placement is wonderful and shifts are flawless with just a little practice. have you even driven the car?
