Idea! Drive the 1M at the Performance Center

For all of us heartbroken boy racers who weren't picked for the special event in Germany, how about an opportunity to testdrive the 1 series ///M Coupe at the Performance Center!

Here's the idea - BMW delivers a 1M to the Performance Center in Spartanburg for an upcoming weekend, where all of us pay our own way and possibly a nominal fee to drive the car and form our own opinions. I'd be even be willing to sign an non-disclosure if needed.

What say you? How many would be interested if this were made available. Maybe with enough respondents BMW will take notice. (It got Audi to bring the TTRS to the US)

Hell yeah, I'm 10mins away and have track times to compare it to from my E30 M3........

The problem is, we'll have to wait for a production unit. That just takes the fun out of it. The whole excitement is driving the prototype, IN GERMANY, all expenses payed for.

Why couldn't they get a prototype here? They had one here for Oktoberfest with Dr. Kay. Though it's not as good as Germany, the PC track would be sick!
