We have a local shop doing vinyl stickers and they can do a close colour match printing on the vinyl itself. These are just done on the thin outer bit of the grille. Cost me less than SGD$10

Believe you can get the strips at beastpower as well.

My brother in law has a sign shop, cut me some thin strips of vinyl and applied it. Color is close, can't really tell unless you put it right next to an M badge.

Got confirmation of shipment for my lip, can't wait to put it on. Will have my brother in law color match with VO which will save me from going to the paint shop.

For those with a stripe on their CRT lip (Paps, Einser M, ???) if you used vinyl, what was the measurement? Did you just curve a straight piece around or??? I've got an idea floating around in my head and want to see if it'll work (Plus, it should help the lip stand out on my BSM).

Paps painted his and he helped me get the vinyl for mine and installed it. final measurements was 3/8 in on mine

Nah, nothing too secret. I just remember seeing a (IIRC) E34 race car with the ///M colors around the edge of the duck bill and thought something similar might work on the CRT lip.

While we're at it anyways: also throw in an ///M referenced mounting frame.

I recommend 5/16-2/8 wide, I think the length was 56 or 58 inches so you have enough to wrap around and your fingers never actually touch the part that goes along the front of the lip. One long strip will curve all the way around very nicely.

Pretty much what I'm thinking is, the same type of stripe that Paps and Einser have (maybe a little wider) but with the ///M colors instead.

Yea, just not sure where to purchase it from. I doubt I would keep it on my car for long but I would love it have it for a few summer months. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
