Can't join you guys for the second meet as I will not have a car. The salesguy is taking my car away and I'll be without one until my new one arrives.
Will it be possible to ask your salesguy to order the xenon with the car if it's not even built yet?

Gosh, the picture certainly looks cool. Having so many cars gathered together. There must be alot of people staring at the cars. This is an old picture, right? Not from the first meet?

Thanks for the offer guys, much appreciated. But I would feel much better being the driver, rather than a passenger (am sure you know how it feels). Besides myself, there's also a sweet little 1 yr old girl and a grumpy wife to take along as well!

Rest assured, will be joining you guys for the third round.

C, that wasn't my car.

Do you guys notice there are getting more and more e90s in town?

Raychkg,

I forgot one thing. I seem to recall the 323 was a bit more bumpy compared to the 325 or 330. Could you verify that in the second meet? Sounds strange as the 323 has more rubber than the other 2 cars. I think it probably has to do with the different type (brand?) of tyres.

OK, looking forward to meet you at our third meet. When will you get your car? I will be bringing my 1.5yr old son and my wife to the second meet so feel free to bring along family members.

Yes, there are more and more E90s. Today, I saw 6-7 in N.T.!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully there will be more members joining us

What tires did your test car has? Maybe it's more bumpy because the car is so new compared to the 325 or 330 demos and the suspension tends to soften up abit as mileage increases.

If I recall, it's the potenza tyres. I really hope this is the case. But in anycase, I'll definitely be replacing the wheels. Just a matter of which improvements I make first.

My car will be arriving in May.

you can replace the tires with NON-runflats and it will improve the ride quite alot but the drawback is you have to carry a can of tire sealant and an electric pump

My car will be arriving in May.

Based on my feel of ~1500km driven, the rf tires have thick side walls but it should not contribute a great deal to a harsh ride in most cases. Bumpy ride is mostly resulted by stiff suspension and short springs. However, there is one occasion/condition I noticed harshness can be generated from the rf tires is when I drive a bit sidway across two lanes where the wheels roll over those "cat eyes stones"! It generates a very loud sound like the wheels hitting something which I never experienced in any cars I had ever driven. But I would not consider this situation is "bumpy", it is just the sound makes you confused that your car is a harsh-ride.

On 330i, the only really bad "bumpy" feel is the rear. And I would say, it has got nothing to do with the rf tires but rather it is just the rear suspension. This bumpy thing does not occur on flat road but only when over bumps. Any wider tires than 225 will make this worse.

I guess the non sport suspension of 323, 325 and 330 should be the same? Let me know if it isn't so.

I am still controlled myself to drive at max. 140km/h and max. 4000rpm . I will start to hit the redline when the car is over 3000km.

I would have thought the non-sport suspension is the same across the models. I really hope it's because the td car is very new and takes time to soften a bit.

I sat in my friend's 330 with sports suspension (AW with terra interior and manual!) and my impression was that it didn't feel as "hard" as when I was driving the TD 323.

Given a choice, I'd sacrifice a bit of the great handling for some comfort. I don't really push my car hard round corners, especially with my bb at the back seat!

yes, they will always get soften but not by much.
You will feel sitting is less harsh because the driver will feel more from his steering wheel.

Yes, maybe it will soften up abit after awhile. Haven't seen a 330i with manual. Is it a E90? If you friend is driving E90, you can invite him/her to join us

I have only seen 320i w/ manual so far.

Do you have the logic 7 system?
I have the profressional HeadUnit, and it doesn't display Chinese at all.
Do you have to do something special when you burn the disc ?
