JB3 Map Setting

I followed the procedures to set it to map 6. I only ran the car close to read line several times without flooring the gas pedal. Since then, I've been driving the car like normal.

Was my car trained to use the maximum of map 6 or do I really have to floor the gas pedal?

Dont really understand what you are asking..

Your car will drive normally under normal driving conditions... But once you open up the rev range the increase in power should be dramatically noticable.

I think you read the instructions wrong. I'm guessing you are trying to floor the gas pedal 6 times to get to map 6??? Is that what you are saying?

Yes, I had set it to map 6 correctly and I do feel the performance gain. My real question is related to training the car to adapt to the map which I selected.

I only ran the car close to red lines several times "without flooring" the gas pedal, does it qualify "full throtle" runs? If not, does it mean the car was not adapting to use the full potentail of map 6?

when i change my map, it seems like it takes my car a day or 2 to fully adapt. it could be situational, but i never make full boost (varies by map, of course) right off the bat
