Wish we could get BMR to make an axle back portion of their exhaust for the Rieger/1M quad

Are you sure about no straight pipes?
Berk Race is the loudest, most aggressive I've heard, but it is muffler-less. You could always do the Berk Race and add small resonators in the midpipes.

I've got a BMW PE and gets tons f pops and crackles, but that's due more to my tunes (BMW PPK overlaid with Dinan stage 2 - yes, they stack, contrary to popular belief - at least these two do).

Yep... same set-up as Cavpilot2k and love the sound! Awesome pops and crackles from the PPK (plus Dinan S2), and a great tone from the BMW PE with the included y-pipe/resonator delete. Best of both worlds IMO.
I'm sure it's not the most aggressive exhaust you can get for the 1er, but that's not what I wanted anyway.

I have a VRSF catless down pipe with a BMR with no resonator. It is ignorant load. Sounds absolutely amazing if you like that!!! The build quality is on point also!

For the most part once it warms up. It is definitely noticeable though.

if you don't want to straight pipe then just do a catless dp and berk street mids/axle back. I have berk street axle back and catless dp with stock mids, it's pretty loud but not overbearing. I couldn't deal with it any louder to be honest. The thread title is sort of different than the question though, catless turbo back is going to the most aggressive.

Check dinancars.com for the current price of the Stage 2 tune for the N55 135i (my car), and depending on the year of your N55 135i, you might be able to get an online coder to flash PPK for a reasonable price. Would also suggest buying the BMW PE for a great tone and more volume. The MHD tunes for the N55 are reasonably priced and offer a variety of options, including some burbling effects. If you're interested, check their thread here on the forum. Do some searches to find more info on the above. Here's a post on the subject of flashing Dinan S2 on top of PPK for the N55 135i: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...;postcount=146 Below is a video of what the N55 135i sounds like with the BMW PE and PPK: (video is courtesy of 3002 tii) PS - you don't need the Dinan tune to get this sound. Just the BMW PE (Performance Exhaust) and the BMW PPK (Performance Power Kit), both of which can be added to any N55 135i.

I have a full berk set up and its loud as hell, if your on E85 and cold start you can feel the sound in your chest,
Im normally on 100 oct and it has lots of pops and burbles, some of the pop-pops sounds like gunshots, you can typically get 3-5 gunshot pops if driving it correctly |
