When you guys are replacing your VCG (valve cover gasket) you might want to add a bead of Loctite #518(I think thats the number). This stuff can seal up to 3mm gaps and still hold up. BMW valve covers always seem to deform over time, warping. It also gets harder when it comes in contact with oil - making a very good VCG sealer. Even though BMW says not to use any sealers... I would.
