You can either purchase the led angel eye rings/hardware kit and attempt to install them yourself or ship your headlights to bavarianx to have them complete the install for you.

Ok so..

1. Whats the cost for each option?
2. WHats the timeframe for sending in the lights and getting them back?
3. Are there any known interferences with the oem system, lights, etc. ?
4. Does the "blacking out" come with this job?
5. Can i please have the lady in white?

Dont know if I could do without my car for more than 2-3 MAX for this kinda thing. Nor do I really know how the shit to take the entire headlight assembly out and reinstall.

Instead of blacking out the orange reflector, can it be painted maybe silver to look more like the european spec headlights? The black painted reflector looks too much like ambergones. So whats the pricing on these babies?

+1, it almost looks like it is an ambergone, you can see a lil bit of amber in one of those pics left.

but other than that, the actual LED AEs look amazing, how is the ring definition in daylight?

1. Call Bavarian Exclusive for pricing because they haven't released it on the forum officially
2. 5-7 days for completion. 1 day shipping will not be accepted.
3. No codes, no errors, everything will be in working order
4. Black out option is extra cost.
5. She's taken

I was thinking the same thing and have them redo the black and paint them silver. although the black looks really good on a white car. i'll let you guys know how it looks as soon as they are done.

Hmm that's quite a while to be without the whole headlamp assemblies...

You'd think they would take stock of some oem assemblies, do the work on them, then sell those and then give back a core charge refund when the customer receives the new assembly. Why not do this??? Makes things a hell of a lot smoother, easier and more appealing to me atleast, i dunno, is everyone else cool with givin up their car for a week for this, or is everyone expected to be sufficient nuff to do this whole bit themselves?

I would suggest they sell modded assemblies for a slightly higher cost and then return a core refund for the oem ones from the customers. Its not like most peoples headlight assemblies are in shit condition. Have yet to see anyones on here that has any condensation, scratches, etc.

Would make this ALOT more appealing to me, otherwise it's not for me, i dont have another car to tool around in for a week, this is my DD.

I believe that having a core exchange program would HIGHLY benefit them. They would have a much bigger market as many of us can not afford to lose our car for even a single day.

idk man. let's say that the cost to buy a set of OEM headlights and install the LS1 costs a total of 3k (just an example the LS1 does not cost WILL NOT cost a grand) for them to go out of their way to buy multiple sets or even just one at a time and refund 2k everytime someone buys it... doesnt sound so simple to me. i'm sure OSS would've done the same thing for the E92 guys but i don't think they have. also, when you say they buy new headlights and receive yours to trade in, that isn't necessarily the same value. what if they ARE in shit condition? that's losing money on their end. they aren't going to resell a set of used headlights.

believe me, they thought of many solutions but it's too complicated for them. they even thought about carrying a set of rental headlights but then that would mean they'd ship and receive headlights 4 times just for one set of headlights. twice there and twice back. it's too much trouble on both ends.

Wow sounds realy complicated, it's even easier to install LSD to mt car. I think I will wait till other option will come out... But definitely looks good. Also interesting what is the price of 1M headlights?

Buy a new set, send them in and wait. Once you get your new lights back, remove your current ones and sell those to someone else wanting in on this. You probably wont make all your money back, but you might be able to make up some of it.

They look good...here's something to keep in mind though....the set illuminates so intensely that it creates a light overflow around it and inside the entire light housing. Personally, what I like about the new OEM rings is that they are extremely visible, but they are sharp when on and illuminate as 2 sharp circles, without all that glow around them and in the housing.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if you want that sharper look, go with the 1M headlights? I wonder if those would be easily swappable.
