Not a bad video, but pretty nice to see that the N55 is faster than the N54 stock for stock. For those of us who don't like buying used cars.

That video was so pointless. They are doing drag races with DCT vs 6MT and they are doing handling in the pooring rain where the guy just made an error. And the "mods" except for the flash gave no 1/4 mile performance gains. And that girl is so fucking annoying.

Wow, what a waste of time and fuel.
They compare pretty much nothing significant, other than to promote the Cobb tuning. This is a meaningless attempt at a "comparison". The N55 is a DCT and the 09 is a MT with a modded suspension that can't even be fully utilized on the wet track. Who does a road course "comparo" on a wet track? What point were they even trying to make? It's like they were just attempting to say that having more power means you have to have more control on wet roads as the tires will spin easier. DUH! A meaningful comparison would be a stock N55 DCT against a sportronic N54, and/or an N54 MT vs a N55 MT. That I would like to see. Oh, and do it on a dry track. A stock N54 MT vs a stock N55 DCT would be cool too, but then give us some freakin numbers for some real data. This video comparo is a a big FAIL. |
