**New Owner!**

Hey everyone, Im a long time lurker but recently made an account on here after I bought my 135i. Found some good information on the website, helped me pick out the right car for me. I ended up buying a 2011 135i in Jet Black with m-sport, premium, and navi. So far I'm enjoying the hell out of the car. Cant wait to start modding!

P.S. sorry if I posted this in the wrong section... not sure where newbies go..

Here is a picture of mine..

There's a couple posts in the Detailing section on Jet Black paint.

And hey no problem

I would personally use a touch-less wash system. I had a horrible time, even with microfiber cloths. Whenever I get my car back from repairs and the weather clears up, I will definitely get a full detail or do one myself.

And I see you have a Passport nice!

Ah, I am used to the bluish glow being a characteristic of the Xi passport models. I had no idea the V1 glowed blue too. There are some great threads here on hardwiring options and what is required. Be sure to read them carefully I would make sure since this is a german car that the install is done correctly with the right fuse to prevent possible issues. I read on here about wires melting(when the install was done improperly) and have since been too scared to tackle it myself.

Awesome looking 135i. Do you know the % of tint or other information about the tint?

Yes! I will make sure to be careful. And the bluish glow are interior LED's I installed not my valentine They dont look very bright because it was like 2:30 in the morning when I took this picture.

Well I never got the chance to drive a dct before I ordered mine and I've always had a manual so that's what I went with. Kinda wish I had driven one though because all the other 1ers around n my area driven by Americans anyway are all dct. They must know something I don't lol.
