Where to buy new engine?

My 2012 135i died. Story posted elsewhere. It's too sad a tale to retell.

Wondering if anyone has purchased an engine or anything else major from Matt at ProjectMMotors in NJ OR Bavarian Auto Recycling/bmrparts.com. Have offers for engines from both of them.

Anybody used them or know them? This is an expensive week, and I don't want to buy another problem.

Note that either way I'm installing a Pure Turbo to skip used turbo issues.
