Just goes to show you that MPH at the end is not that important. Lowest ET wins everytime.

sure it is, you do just bolt it on in the end, same way no2 is...
The turbo has just enough lag to make launching the 1 easier. Good time for sure. I needed a converter to run those times with my 99 LS1 camaro (back in 00-01). It was running 11.6@115, pulling the wheels off the ground. 4000 converter, headers, exhaust, cold air (lid), maf, 01 intake (car dynoed 330s rwhp)

Anyways that's a nice time for essentially just DPs a tune and meth. Granted, this engine seems to love meth, so he would be in the 12s without it. But he still would've won with DPs and a tune (the filter and the intercooler do not make the car faster). That makes me think: I wonder how close the gain is from race gas (and obv the extra couple pounds it allows you) and no meth to pump gas with meth. With the 5.0s starting to hit the streets in the near future it may be time for me to pull the trigger Grats to the driver  *edit* I just realized the 5.0 was WELL into 4th at the end, probably at or near the top. He also went into 2nd and 3rd very early. Was he short shifting or is that car just geared really tight because its all special edition-y? |

Nice to see this comparison though. Looks like the cars were a little bit closer than I thought they were. |

btw you might want to clarify, if you know what the exact bolt ons are for the 5.0. Bolt-ons are very often mis-used.
(even the 135 example, as mentioned before when people talk about bolt-ons, meth is NOT typically consider a bolt-on) |
