Active Autowerke Axle Back Installed! Pics Inside...

Just got it on this morning.

Very high quality piece. Great welds, great polish, tasteful tips. MEAN sound. Can't get the car out of the garage because of snow, but it sounds pretty pissed now. I'll get a vid up in this thread when I can get the car outside, ha.
Install was typical cake axle-back stuff - no surprises. I will say the kit could use 2 washers for the bolts, luckily I had 2 on hand. Sorry about the filthy 1er and the crappy pics...

Looks great, my only problem with Active is that their systems are so pretty that I never want to install

I've already got the Magnaflow axleback. AA took too long.

Some... ~2000 rpms and moderately high load...cruise at 55mph in 6th will do it...much about 2500-2700 it seems to go away. Highway is good. (80-85).

It sounds nice, not too loud at all. You get lots of nice pops and snaps as the revs come down. I seem to be able to hear my turbos better as well - must have been a fair amount of the turbo whistle killed in the OEM exhaust.

I'm diggin' it so far...

How bad is the drone? I'll be looking at midpipes in the future so won't that enhance the drone?

I don't have any close up pics of it. Next time I wash my car I'll take a couple shots. I'll have to make a thread for it eventually. It cost around $650.
