help! salesman just called, what should i ask for?

my salesman just called to wish me a happy birthday, and said he would like to get me somthing from the bmw side, so I should let him know....so my question, is ...being realistic now guys...what are some things I could ask for......I was thinking the "3" er keyring....but I dont know...shoot!

wow, now that's what i call taking care of customers. that is so great that he is doing that. my dealer barely gives me 30 seconds of his time when the dealership's body shop does a crappy job.

why don't you go to this site and see what they have. i would agree with you that something in the keyring's price range would be appropriate to ask for.

If you don't have the sunglasses tray (replace ashtray) it is a great accessory.

That's great follow-up customer service.

I'd ask for the keychains or maybe license frames. I've got 2 keychains and wheel locks from my dealership already. I got valve stem covers and had to pay about half price. Next time that they mail me a coupon for accessories, I'm going for license plate frames probably.

Ask to use his employee discount and get all the things you want for cheap. That what I did and I saved like 30%. The gift costs him nothing and he feels he did you a great favor. Sort of a win-win for everyone.

the employee discount sounds good especially since your purchases are doing him a favor in return.

my suggestions for freebies and/or discounted:

wheels locks
all-weather rubber floor mats
all-weather cargo liner
330 chrome exhaust tips 18-30-7-549-558 x2

edit:
the discount idea is good because now you can ask for a more expensive item and suggest a discount on it if it's too much for him to give away free.

good ideas, thanks guys...he already thew in the exhaust tips when i got the car about a month ago...I think I'm going with the 3keyring, even though I doubt I'm going to use it on my key fob

Sounds like you have a GREAT salesperson. It seems like most of the suggestions people have made so far were already given to you by your salesperson. Talk about "what to get the guy who has everything". I guess a gift certificate or discount on something more expensive may be your best option.

When I think back, the only time my salesperson ever called me (not counting the times I called him first) was when he called to complain about his survey rating.
