Diffuser Add-On
Saw an Aston Martin recently with a cool add-on under the diffuser. Wonder if there's anything we can do for our cars that is similar...Wouldn't be that expensive either. The part that I'm referring to is the lip that comes up from under the car.
My car for reference (and just because):

Might be able to do it if you didn't have the two fins on the diffuser. Definitely a different thought and worth exploring.
On another note, it works well on that Aston because the lip is flush with the other ground effects. On our cars the diffuser is already flush, so adding a lip like this would make the diffuser hang lower than the bumper/sideskirts. Not sure how it will turn out. Also, our exhaust is a bottom cut-out, vs the enclosed pipe of the Aston.

That's pretty different than the idea I had. Looks kinda cheap IMO, but it's hard to see clearly from the pics.

more "hashtagging" on that picture than intelligible caption.

Did you mean something like this?
I asked them about it years ago and Bryan at Berk said Quote:

You could probably make something out of flat sheet metal (something like the thin aluminium sheets they use for signs ).
Attach one end to the bottom of your diffuser and the other to the rear subframe. |

Haha sorry for the teasing, yeah that one is for an E63...We looked into it and it's just not possible to do something like that for the E82 because the way it's setup down there.

Yeah, I was looking at the mounting points and it looks like it would need some work. Looks like it lines up well though
