Orange 1M for sale

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
My orange 1M is up for sale. It has 95K miles and has been well maintained. It's in excellent mechanical condition and good cosmetic condition. I believe it has every option available and everything works. It has a metal charge pipe and 135i midpipe (original midpipe available) but it's otherwise stock. I have a clean title.

It was recently listed on Cars and Bids but didn't meet reserve.

Sad that inspection company said it shows signs of underside "surface rust". For a car in the midwest, I would definitely say it has zero rust. Looks like a clean car, conservatively owned by an old man.

Idle looks a little high in the pic where you can see the engine has got some temperature in it; should be ~600 on the tach once the temp gauge has started to move. The vacuum lines probably all need replacing at this mileage. Are the injectors and HPFP original?

Original HPFP and injectors. The water pump was replaced a few years ago proactively. I'm not sure how to comment regarding the vacuum lines. I can post another cold start video if needed.

Vacuum lines are normal wear and tear for a 12 year old N54 car nearing 100k miles, the idle on mine wasn't rock solid until I replaced the valve cover. Someone else recently posted the C&B auction for your car here on the forum, and I'm hoping an enthusiast does buy it from you. A muted 1M deserves to be liberated by someone who likes exhaust drone on the highway
