I'm reviving this thread now that some more people have received their xi's...

Can anyone give a good compare/contrast between the driving characteristics of the two cars? I know that my C4s feels heavier than a RWD carrera... is the same thing evident in the 3 series?

I've been driving my 330XI since 23 September here in Heidelberg Germany. I've got 1000 miles to date. No problems yet and still learning about the car. It is a bit humbling, though to be tooling down the Autobahn at 100mph and being passed like I'm backing up!

Handling is amazing and I've decided that I like the I-drive. Gas mileage is about 22 mpg in mixed driving. The nav system is better than I had heard but not as good as some.

I'm looking forward to the end of teh break in period so I can start chasing some of those guys on the A5!

Hi everyone-I've been lurking here for about a month. My husband thinks I'm obsessed so I decided I might as well join in. I'm waiting on my 330xi, should be here end of oct or first of nov. I can't wait!

My wife hasn't let me drive the new 325xiT yet... Hopefully soon I will take her for a decent ride and make a comparison.

Welcome Hevley!!! Nice to have a womanwho is obsessed and her husband thinks she is crazy here!! Mostly it's the opposite! Although there is some great female company here, you'll find out as you go.

I bet you ordered your car end of July...right?

edit:

oops, I just noticed....September...wow!! That's a great turnaround!
Looks like a great car you have on the way!

Offer to go pick up the groceries (for which, of course, you need the wagon ) Note: "groceries" can easily be the kind required for Monday night football

Good idea. And it doesn't really have to be the closest store does it? Maybe beer is cheaper in the next county!
