Photoshop gurus, can you paint the tii spoiler to alpine white? I want to see if it becomes more integrated and less "racey" - if that is a word.

I love the Tii spoiler. Once I recover financially from getting the car/Europe trip the spoiler is mine! I can't agree more about ugly spoilers. I will kill the first person to attach an ironing board to this car..lol

I would opt for one that is bigger than OE and smaller than Tii

Good call. That Tii spoiler looks very sweet.

Supposedly there's only one in the states right now but more on the boat on the way over.

The spoiler will beat my car here by a few months.

I know this may sound ghetto, but is anybody going to rip off the stock spoiler, paint it black and slap it back on?? How would this look??!

^I had thought about that...but I am still on the fence. I'll prob just wait and see what the aftermarket looks like in a few months.

Let

Removed the spoiler from my 135 last night when I got home from PCD. Since the trunk already curves up a bit, the spoiler is not so good. The car looks much cleaner without it. It is held on with 3M double sided tape. Remove the residue with some 3M wax and tar remover.

Also debadged the rear. Removal is the same. The badge was not as bad as the spoiler but it would have been nicer moved more outboard. The curve of the trunk would make that very hard.

That looks very clean...with the spoiler removed it resembles the e36 tail somewhat, the line better accentuates the lip of the trunk.

One reason I ended up going with a Cab cause the back of the 135i just looked too messy and cluttered with the spoiler.

How do you close the trunk now, without touching any paint?

Rear spoilers are practically out of style now. In my opinion, they spoil the sleek lines of most cars. I'm glad BMW makes only the subtle lip spoilers.

License plate. I never touch painted surfaces except the door handle(s).

i agree, its 300 hp, not 1000. you will never need enough downforce to justify that Evo spoiler we see above...

the diffuser while also not really functional, does look pretty cool though!
