BMW Sydney mate. The delivery charge is basically chopped in half if you go under the Corporate Plan. Issue is they dont have much info on it yet, including no info for the Circle thing. I'm still waiting on a trade price and Circle BMW info before I commit my order

They charged me for rubber matts too! It says on the corporate its included free - so I need to check that.

I'm also thinking I might change the color..

Well done on the discount but I still don't know why mine adds up to $89,000. I assume you are all quoting on-road including GST, LCT plus stamp duty.

Kris - corporate means getting GST back right - imputation credit?

Check this out:

steptronic $2074.00
mats $300.00
CAS $926.00

CTP $370 (subject to pricing at delivery)
Rego $460 (ditto)

I'd be keen to see other people's numbers before I give my dealer a call. Thanks all.

Aw... right. Thanks Swift, I thought the LCT might not have made it across the Bass Strait. We're overseas here after all. ;-)

Spdrcr, our cars are twins. Except mine will have no sunroof or professional hifi, but with adaptive headlights instead. Obviously we are going to use our cars for different purposes. Mine will be geared for weekend/track driving, and late night runs through the twisties (hence the adaptive headlights). Yours by the sound of it will be a daily driver. I live and work in the city, and have other cars for daily use anyway. What I also found is that the high end stereo don't work that well with cars like this, as the exhaust notes drowns the stereo. Besides, you will want to hear the exhaust. One of my cars has probably the best production car V8 exhaust notes, and I optioned a 700w dolby stereo on it. In my opinion, the stereo doesn't sound that good, and I hardly turn it on anyway!

Don't worry Way, this baby will be seeing some track time. I got the sunroof because I'm coming from a vert and I figured the sunroof would be a nice compromise. Initially I wanted a 4 seater vert but there is nothing around that is worth getting (even the e46 M3 vert isn't that great).

I've listened to the standard 1 series sound system and it is ok but nothing special. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to sound so I figured I would just go for the top one. I'll be using this car every day and hopefully for some roads trips, a good stereo is nice to have when you want to relax a bit in the car.

ps: would you be interested in coming up to Wakefield for a track day? I'm going to take the car down whilst it is still stock to get a base-line track time.

Wakefield? Potentially. I also want to do Burrows at EC sometime this year either in the AMV8 or this car. I think we should also do a track day at Winton. It's a bit further for you, but still bearable.

Congrats jcw! If you don't mind me asking, why do you need heated seats in Perth? I did't think I would have any use for them even down here in Tassie.

Good point d3syd. The only heated seat I ever used was on a couple of convertible I had and only deep in the winter with the roof down.
