I've only had one minor problem....The anti-trap function on my sunroof needs to be reset by the dealer but I've been too lazy to go. Other than that no issues!

For every 100 individuals with minor or major problems with their vehicle, there are about 1000 individuals with NO problems. Numbers may not be true, but you get the idea.

I've been in several car forums. There are always people complaint about their car, including Lexus, and those people are very vocal about their problems which I can understand. But please do not forget, 99% of people don't have problems with their car and they don't publisize it that their cars are perfect too.

My Aluminum trim was distorted on the day of delivery and one of my taillights blew out - less than 2k miles. Both seem like isolated incidents though...

My trunk lid's gap on either side when closed was off about 1/8th inch, so the dealer easily corrected by adjusting where it bolts to the hinge mechanism in less than 10 minutes.
Also, my driver's side vanity mirror light doesn't come on when I slide open the mirror. (Am I not doing something right?) For a car with litterally thousands of things that could go wrong, I think these two minor things is actually quite a relief! Love my car and would buy all over again! It drives awesome! |

My battery died--no reason. The tow guy said he had been towing a lot of the new 3 series with the same battery problem.
New battery--its all good again. |

330xi Love this Car But !!!
2 months old, car would not start- Towed to the Dealer, and I have been without the car for 6 days. The car was built in less than 6 days. A bad communication module, part was ordered and was placed in the car, but it is still not finished. The dealer says to reprogram the car takes 7-8 hours. I find this hard to believe. I can assemble a pc and install the operating system in 2 hours. When the car was running it was without a doubt the best vehicle I have owned, and without any noises, defects or flaws. The radio sounds great. The comfort access wonderful. The ride and handling second to none.. I would recomend this car to anyone who loves driving. I can not wait to retun the Toyota loaner..

Same or me except I hear rattles from instrument panel and my climate control screen had crack. They put brand new climate control unit tho, so that was cool. Din't fix any , i mean any, rattles even tho they kept the car for 3days!!! My fuel door also won't come out TT for allignments, you have to pay it... I pad $200 some dollars at my dealer... I thought it was free man... bastards!!

This isn't a problem with the E90 per se, but I just discovered that my BMW Assist no longer works. I recently had the software update that enabled my drive away locks. Damn it -- need to schedule a new service appointment.

the only major issue i have, and its always occuring.....everytime i park my car from a distant space in any lot, it always see smudges and fingerprints on my windows, when i get back.
As much cleaning I do, it always happens again and again. The dealership are just in awe, for they cant seem to duplicate the problem.
