My new blacked out 2011 135i
Picked it up in July with 32k miles at an amazing price and absolutely love it. 2011 135i with coral red interior and M package. Performance mods include BMS intake, AFE catback exhaust and 10mm BMS spacers on the front, 20mm on the back. (slight rubbing issues never read about anyone else having this issue with the setup, could it be the non-runflats?! As far as cosmetic modifications go 15% tint all around, 50% on the windshield, tinted reverse lights, black roundals all around, OEM BMW Performance gloss black kidneys, upgraded halos (forget which ones but they were the step below the lux variable color option) and plastidipped rims. Also there is a 12 inch sub in the back from my old rig. Love driving this thing every day, there are not many/ any other modded 1s in Northern California (besides the white 1M I see on my way into SF in the mornings) so it is great to have something different. Hope y'all enjoy! |

Nice. how much wheel gap do you have? I'm considering buying these wheels with the same spacer set up. I have M sport suspension but not sure if I want to drop it yet.

Put a light coat of plasti dip on those turn indicators I have myn like that. Still light up good and look a lot better and will complete your blackout look.

wouldn't advise dropping it with this setup imo, it would look better but you would need to roll the edge to avoid rubbing. If you got 12mm on the back and 5 up front you would be golden though with lowering springs. |

It's great, love the sound not to loud ie police attracter, but definitely a noticeable difference over stock.
I originally ordered the Berk race over the summer and was waiting for months with the shipments continually getting pushed back (i think there was a production/ customs issue....?) so i got sick of waiting, cancelled my order and jumped on this. Also considered the maddog exhaust but called the owner up and he said I would have to wait a month or two as he hand makes every exhaust or something along those lines. Nice guy but I was anxious to get an exhaust, the afe had good reviews and is reasonably priced as well. However there is a slight whistle noise at WOT on the freeway that can be irritating but every exhaust seems to have at least one issue... would recommend though. |

I wouldn't paint them completely. I would either spray then once or twice with plastdip or have them tinted. You will want that light to still be functional for safety.
