Curious About What This Means On My Service Invoice
On my last dealership service invoice I had this statement: "Perform standard scope check per CBS information. Performed per CBS information."
I'm on great terms with my dealership's service department, so I am not concerned. Just curious. Does this mean they scoped the intake valves? |

I believe the standard scope involves downloading car info from the OBD. CBS stands for "Condition Based Service" as described in your Service/Warranty manual.

CBS means customer based service , when we do a scope all we do is hook up the car to the isid and reset the CBS data , we dont get payed to run a fault check , we used to by BMW
