How long will delivery take on a 128i?

How long will a delivery take on an ordered 128i? I want the car by August, but I don't want to order it like now! When should I order?

Also, do you have to put all your money down when you order it?

Here're are couple of options:
1. Wait until August and try and find a Texas dealer with a car you want on the lot. (risky)
2. Get on a dealer's list now (pay no more than $1000 refundable deposit) and order the car 10 -12 weeks before you want it.
You don't have to pay the balance due on the car until just before getting the keys.
