ebay c/f p spoiler doesn't fit

Just curious if the ones you guys have fit like that?

The fix I see is to sand the tip down. It's too thick and holding the rest up, and from bending.

I filed a return with ebay. Never done that and hopefully goes well.

I understand it's China parts and may not be exact, but I don't know how to work with C/F either ... how much can I sand, what grit/material, how to seal, etc. I'd rather just spend a bit more for a proper fit.

Are you sure you did not get one for a convertible?

Well, as a start I'd say complain to the seller. You'll likely get a full refund. That's peanuts to those guys. Happened to me a couple times actually.

It's gonna be difficult getting that down as these things are just hollow fiberglass shells with a CF layer on top. you're more likely to go through it than getting it to sit flush from sanding. I'd say raise hell, get a refund and have a body shop work some magic then paint it. cuz you're more than likely going to damage the CF in some way

That's how mine is/was. I used a dremel to sand it and it's fine for now, but fitment is still not OEM-like. It came off once about a year ago while I was having my clutch done and to my surprise, the technician remounted it for me. Did a sloppy job with silicone but I don't have time to care anymore. My RW Carbon roof spoiler fits even worse(raised edges).
