Supersprint resonator delete on N55 midpipe

Do you guys think the Supersprint resonator would fit on stock N55 midpipe? It's currently on sale. Might be an option. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/show...sonator-delete

Should bolt right up. I hope. I've also ordered one. The n54 guys run n55 mid pipes so everything is of the same proportions. Not sure why super sprint only list it as n54. Possibly they never updated the description after n55 was released.

The other concern is if the piping diameter of the stock midpipe is the same as the Supersprint one, as it is made to bolt to their midpipe.

"Supersprint section 2 replaces the resonator in the 135i exhaust and fits with the Supersprint section 1 pipes (with or without cats)."

Seems they are stating that they are the same size to me.

Just came in the mail today. A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Quality is superb for something thats probably been sitting in storage. The plastic it came in was very thick and shrink wrapped. Seems to have protected it very well. Now on to install this weekend or the following.

One time when I clicked the link from another thread it was only $202, that wasn't bad.

Price isn't too bad. $250 on sale. I can think of worse ways to spend $250. I'd rather have something quality made than something thrown together at a exhaust shop that may or may-not hold up over time. Depending on where you go you could end up with the same price. With this I know the quality of what I'm putting on my car.

Fair. Thanks for the idea either way. I've got a drop dead no bullshit exhaust shop with really talented fabricators. Gonna have them cut my flange off, delete the box resonator and weld in two bottle resonators where the cats are. TIG welds and quality pipe, can't get much easier than that.

Your lucky. I live out near Delaware in MD. Very slim pickings when it comes to car shops. The super sprint y pipe makes this a doable diy for me.

$250 makes a shit ton of sense for where you are then.

Plus side, empty roads.

Love the back roads here hoping to get this on so I can enjoy it for my weekend trip to the skyline drive at the end of the month.

That'd still be like a 5 hour drive wouldn't it? I really need to make a trip out to the Dragon this year, haven't been in over 6 months and getting itchy. It's fun, but honestly some of the back roads around it are even better. Higher speed and less BIKES.

Roughly. I drive to DC every week for work so I don't mind long drives.

Nope. Haven't gotten to it. I've been away for work. Hopefully soon. Will post when I can get the car on the lift when I'm home.
