That is one nice looking touring, congrats!
No regrets of getting E.R. at all now, I guess?

The mudflaps should be a useful option in cheshire!

Nice landscape btw.

Cheers mate

Cheers Dante. Thanks for the comments.

Your not wrong re mudflaps in Cheshire. In fact I sometimes wish BMW had water wings on their options list

Joking apart, its a long time since I've had a red machine but this latest one is one of the best yet. It seems to get commented upon where ever I go.

Just picked up our Electric Red. I need to get another shot of it next to my red E36.

How about swirl marks

Newbie - first question

I am considering getting a red or white 325i. I have had white cars before, but never red. I know swirl marks will appear on all paint colours, but some are more notable than other - how is the red? Thanks

The red isn't too bad. I've got a 97 e36 and the paint still looks really good even though the waxing has been neglected for a year.

If you want a red 325i go for it, but if you always have to park it outside & want to keep it looking nice for a long time spring for the clear silicon treatments...I wish I had!

I have a 1996 red 318Ti which I waxed twice a year & parked it outside(I have no garage). My paint is fading & some of the clearcoat is flaking off. Still, electric red is my favorite BMW color lookwise.

Picking up my electric red 2006 325i in about a week... It is my first BMW experience and I cannot wait... I am grateful for this thread to get an idea what the color really looks like since my local dealer does not have one in this color

Congrats! Great color choice, and believe me, you're most likely hooked for life! What are your specs?

6 speed manuel, beige on black interior, leatherette, sports package, comfort access, Navi/I-drive, active xenons, BMW assist, bluetooth, rear folding seats... Wasn't sure about the red, initially thought black or white, but went with a color you don't see everywhere on road... By look of pictures, I won't be disappointed... Will post pictures next week after delivery
