That's from the perspective of a 1M owner though.

Can you guys just imagine what a M135i would turn lap wise with ALL the 1M suspension bits and an engine flash tune!

Having had endless trouble with Audi DSG and boredom at times due to an inactive left leg, I decided to go back to 6MT. So far DCT sounds very reliable.

the great thing with the bmw DCT paddle shift is you only need one hand as well, so your left hand can give ya leg a bit of a rub

So that'd be the M2 then Dack.
Makes me wonder what the M4 will be like. How different can all these cars be with in essence the same engine.

I'm impressed with the M135i, the new models should always be faster than previous and pushing the boundaries.

It would be pretty hard to market a M2 with a turbo 4 now with the M135 and possibly M235, but I really like the idea of a lighter M2. With the Mercedes A45 rumoured to be around 350bhp (which is above the 1M stock) with a T4 there might still be some hope.

However, if the M2 comes substantially lighter with the honeycomb CF parts found on the CRT with kerb weight close to 1400kg with a very technical ///M T4 or TT4 putting out similar figures to current 1M, then the ///M badge (for marketing) might able to do its job. Well, at least I would be happy to part my $ for one over M235.

But the M135i has the 8 Speed AUTO not a dual clutch which, I suspect, will be reserved for the ///M cars (2 and 4 etc)

The M5, as you all will know, comes in a manual in the States, cause they petitioned heavily for it and they buy sh1t tins of M5s.

Bring on the M2 and M235i, can't wait.

Not that anyone would care too much, but 3.1L/100km difference for an extra 15kw/50nm seems a bit high? or is that normal for that performance gain?

Post from Way @ http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...1#post13269671 .... POST 34

"Interesting results, but flawed nevertheless. Why? Simple fact that those two times were done a year apart. Different weather, difference in track surfaces."
