Wow, PERFECT DROP! Classy, very elegant and tasteful. I think cars that have too much drop look ridiculous, you nailed the sweetspot, very nice.

Love the interior, I also have Savannah Beige but I chose poplar. I also went with Sport package rather than M-Sport and am VERY glad, I love the Savannah Beige headliner, makes the car feel so much bigger

Oh and before I forget, by how many mm did the car drop? So I know what to aim for in the future

Thanks for your nice compliment.

At first I was a little bummed I didn't order the M Sport package with Anthracite black headliner. However, I've grown to love the Savannah Beige headliner. It does make the cabin feel more open and airy. It also looks very classy combined with burl wood trim. I'm very happy and don't think I'll tire of it anytime soon.

The Eibach Pro-Kit Springs lower the car about 1.2 inches front and rear. It's a pretty even drop front to rear and was exactly the look I had envisioned. I don't like cars that sit too low. Unless they're track toys. I had Eibach springs on my previous 3 cars and was very happy.

I might also mention that my tint looks much darker in these pics than it actually is in person. I have 35% film all around, except the windshield.

Yeah I was bummed about not ordering the M-Sport shortly after the production got locked in... until I received my car and loved the interior. Looking back if I could do it again I'd stick with the sport package. Drove a loaner 128i with black interior, poplar, and m-sport and after 1 day I was going nuts with so much darkness inside the cabin. Didn't really dig the black roof, makes me claustrophobic

How's ride quality by the way? Does it feel too stiff, does hitting cracks and potholes, etc make you wanna cry now, etc?

It feels as comfortable as stock. I also have Koni FSD shock installed. Handling is great. My wife also loves it.

I already did Koni FSD shocks-forgot to mention in first post. May also do OEM M3 sway bars down the road.

I tested my set up in a parking lot by driving slow with the wheel turned full lock. I also drove the car aggressively over various road surfaces with quick elevation changes. I haven't experienced any rubbing front or back with my wife and I in the car. I followed the recommendation of this thread, but decided to try a little different set up because these spacers were lying around from my last BMW. It ended up working perfectly. I have about a half finger gap up front. WSTO ran 18mm up front with a lower drop so I had a feeling 15mm would work just fine. Since my drop isn't as low in the rear I took a shot and the 12mm worked out. I'll report back if I end up having any issues down the road.
Yeah. I saw that. Typing error on my part. I guess its just due to my ride height. I will have to check again. One more follow up question. What made you choose 15mm up front and 12mm on the rear? Wouldn't you want the wider track on the rear being that its a RWD car? Or was it more of a cosmetic thing? I know the rears are naturally wider, so I am guessing you did it to make the wheels/tires equally as wide front and back. Thanks again for the info, sparked some interest w/me and me performance tech.

Would you, by any chance, have the originals, un-resized, so that I could use them as WP? :P

Good point man. I guess it was mostly for cosmetic reasons. I wanted to have the stance a flush as possible without rubbing. Without the spacers the rear track sligtly wider, but the tires are also wider (58.4" F/59.7" R). With the 15/12mm combo it almost squares up the stance. The handling feels pretty good to me. A little more neutral with the new spring/shock and spacer combo. I would also like to do the M3 sway bars. M3 parts would also be nice.

I do, but will keep them if I ever sell the car.

Thanks!
Not sure what the brand is as the dealer had it done for me prior to delivery. It may be Johnson film. It's 35%.

Looks VERY VERY nice. I thought about doing the very same thing! For several weeks I have had a set of Eibach Pro System (Pro kit springs and shocks) sitting in my garage as well as some H&R spacers left over from my 5 series. I figured I would wait until getting my new wheels until I install the suspension but after seeing what it looks like I might just go ahead and drop her now on the stockers w spacers! Great job

Go ahead and drop it and install the spacers. The Pro System is a solid setup. You will like how your car looks with the mods - trust me!
