P3 gauge question please

Hi
Just bought P3 gauge V2 with USB can bus. Wonder if anyone success to use this USB Y connector. I first read someone did it then someone else posted P3 changed the cable and it wont work. I ordered 1 already and wonder i can use it or just go return it. BTW i have the latest version of P3 gauge. Thanks all and if i post in the wrong section please move.

The cable connections didn't mate for me so I wasn't able to use it.
