OMG HELP!!!! DSC MALFUNCTION!!!!!

I keep getting a DSC malfunction alert everytime I turn my car on!

i have JB3, has anyone experienced this before?

Seriously though, you need to take off JB3 and take it to the dealer. If there are traces of tampering left, you could be out of warranty.

Welcome to the pleasure dome... No seriuosly. There good be something wrong. I have had two years ago a software-update for my Mini Cooper S - and - the DSC ight went on. Go to the BMW dealer and find out whats wrong.

Take the JB3 out first.

Just go to BMW with the JB3 installed. Just let BMW only read out, by ODB, the failure. Then go to JB3. Can't read they the failure out? Or is JB3 something you buy from e-Bay?

OMG!

A DSC error is normally related to a wheel speed sensor. Your best bet is to remove any modifications and let the dealer sort it out for you.

same thing happened to me about 5 minutes ago when i was trying to get my car out of the snow- it was stuck... abs light comes on and it says malfunciton- i have no mods- completely stock.... i gotta find out whats going on

shit guys, it keeps happening randomly... this little bimmer has so many weird electrical system quirks...

still worth it.

ill bring her in, but im not gonna be happy about dealing w. the pin-out JB

Just make sure you take the JB3 off, take it in, you should be fine.

Had the same issue.
Take JB out and go to the dealer.
My baby had a rear wheel sensor go bad and all the electronic DTC, DSC, TC was off.

so much fun, car feels so much snappier and faster for some reason with the thing off.

when it got cold one of mine dropped pressure like 3 psi... threw the code that surely looked like something worse than low tire pressure!

I have had 3 DSC malfunctions on my E60 M5 so had Adam on his E60 M5. I have also gotten it once on my 335i. Just take it into the dealer with your JB3 off....

Are you getting just limp mode or are you getting a CEL as well. If your getting a CEL send us over the code we will see if we can help you.....

i brought 'er in last week, and the problem turned out to be a steering wheel sensor, that links with DSC.

they ordered the wrong parts so hopefully it will be done tomorrow.

I have a theory that hopefully when they change the part and reflash the DSC module it may fix the tinny rattle all HiFi owners experience.
