135i driver seat broke

Hey guys,

Not sure if this happened to anyone before but just the other day when I recline my driver seat forward to let my son out of the car, I heard a small crack and thought something broke. Sure enough, the seat now doesn't "lock" in the forward reclined position. It's fine most of the time until you park on a hill and the seat keep falling back

Most threads I found are of the seats stuck in the forward position and not really about it not locking. Does anyone know if it can be fixed diy or what sort of places would fix this apart from the dealers?
