Nice...it's quite like the E46 M3 as opposed to the E92 M3 where the edges of the "mouth" slope the wrong way for me !

Roofline is still too saloon / sedan like (as opposed to low slung coupé)...how much headroom do you need these days ? I'm from England but don't wear a bowler hat in my car very often.

I LOVE IT! I'm a bit confused to what trim this might be. Does Scott or anybody else care to speculate?

To me it looks like some sort of M Sport package. I've read a lot of discussion at the E90post forum with 335i overheating problems when pushed hard for longer periods of time. I can't see a 135i being a good idea unless you lived near the arctic circle.

Look further into it. If I'm not mistaken, all those with overheating problem were automatics equipped with 1 intercooler. The manuals came with 2. I guess they figured those with automatics were going to stay off the track. BMW has since addressed the problems by producing all 335i's with both intercoolers.

Very sporty, indeed! The openings are quite aggressive looking. Anyone care to speculate about whether this option will be available when the coupe is introduced? Tell me they won't make us wait even longer!

I like the bumper, but I thought that headlights would be different from those of the hatch? They look awfully similar to me, both in size and shape. :iono: Sorry, I still don't like it. Way too big for the car, and too "flamey". I wish it looked like the chop at the top of this site.

Same here, the headlights need to be changed to make it more aggressive.

From what we can see here...aside from the intercooler bumper pkg...
The grille/headlights are..."cute" and combined with the aggressive M bumpers it's too conflicted. Bambi on steroids.
But, if this is it...I like it.

I had a race this weekend at nurburgring and i saw this car in real i could almost touch it. I have made some pics with my mobile. But the front bumper was more covered. It has the same licence plate. The car is just awesome in real. This car in M version 6 cil atmo and bmw has sold me one. I do not want turbo s

I also spoke some guys on nurburgring and they say the 3.2 m engine has been tested in the 1 coupe. I don t know if it makes production. But that would be one fantastic machine.

I like the front very much, even with the HB headlights. Notice how the roof is covered, can we say CF.....please?

I agree with Brookside, it's both cute and aggresive. I'll withold final judgement for some angle shots that show the bumper with the car's proportions. But my sense it that the overall package will be as well balanced as we have expected it to be...

Agreed, actually to be perfectly honest, after seeing this round of cellphone pics i'm 110% sure i'm getting this car, the proportions look perfect and the car sits great on the stock wheels, only question is which engine variant and if there will be an M

Awesome pics. If the car looks this good with all that camo on, think about it when that comes off and we see the true roofline and C pillar and the car looks cleaned up. Can't wait.
