Lightbulb Lux H8 V3 or 5000K for Black E82 135i

Guys, I really need your opinion in choosing the light for angel eyes. I got confuse whether to go with the 5000K or 6500K.

Let me know what you think. Opinion and feedback really appreciated. Thank you guys!

I've got the Lux 6500k and they look great with both the lights on and off. I think the 5000 would be too yellowish. Just my to cents.

I have adaptive headlight. Do you have any problem with it? I just want to make sure that I don't have any problem with it

I have a set of the Alpine MSS 8000k. They have a bright blue tint which works very well with the Lemans blue.

I originally had the 6500k however I also have a '12 with the LED brow which the 6500k didn't match 100% as it was too blue. Swapped them out for the 5000k and they match perfectly! Also I noticed that the 6500k was bluer then the HID's which looked a bit off as well. From what I've noticed the 3's and 5's with LED AE's the AE's actually dim/turn whiter when the HID's are on which makes them look like they match. I took some comparison pics of the 5000k vs. 6500k and you can def see that the 5000k matches the brow much better.

5000 does look good on the '12 but 6500 just looks right on my '10.

That what I thought. Because mine is 2011 which mean it doesn't have the eyebrows yet. 6500K just perfect for pre lci headlight.

I had a problem, used some double sided tape on the ballast and never got an error again. Also, make sure you install the cover back on the light correctly so you dont get condensation in the light. And take your time.

Okay. Actually I'm thinking to bring my car to auto shop, what do you think? For sure I won't let just any auto shop to do it for me but I will research the one that often does the lighting installation. I heard some shops are still causing problem with the adaptive. Thanks

Let me know how this goes! I was thinking about installing 6500k's but again I didn't want to mess with my Adaptive headlights.

Maybe take it to the BMW Dealership and have them do it?

I don't think want to do it. If they want to, they won't be responsible for any mess. Since it's not their product. That's what I thought. I will let you know once I'm brave enough to do it.
