They aren't stock, but not hard core autoX tires either. Stock on my car would have been 205 front/225 rear Pirelli run flats.

I am running Goodyear GS-D3 in 235/40 r17 all around. I think I could probably be a little faster if I was running star specs. The GS-D3s have large gaps in the tread to feed water away, so there is not as much tread in contact with the ground as some tires. I have worn the tread down quite a bit now and I think that is helping a bit too.

I still cannot believe I beat Charles in the 911 Turbo with 295 Hoosiers on it by a half second. He is a decent driver too.

I kind of wish I was going to the AX school this weekend so that a few of you could give it a rip. It blew me away, having those new tires.

I wonder what I would PAX at? I wonder if I would take the SCCA/Non-BMW class I fell in?

Great Pics Dan!!! Nice work on the chart, Rob!
My fav was Sigrid's comment as I was waiting to go
Sigrid "Is this your car?"
Me "Yes."
Sigrid "Then you shouldn't drive it like it's stolen!"

You should show up then. I'd be more than happy to give your car a rip. And, I really don't care if you aren't registered, that just means I you can't drive and I'll have a private instructor for the day.

You better be careful, too. You keep driving that little entry level car above its ability and somebody's going to try to create a new LN class for the 1ers as a rule change next season.

I know Excel is just a poor man's tool and is no Matlab, but it has its uses.

I wish I could be there. I have events every weekend in September, and I kind of like the idea of remaining married and at my home, as a long term goal...
