Hey guys I'm looking at 2 sets of wheels I like and I want to get everyone's opinion! Which ones should I get? The ones are VMR and the others are MRR. I like them both....

Go with MRR's. I believe they are lighter.

Don't be seduced by the deep 3-series offsets in the pics above. 1-series offsets are higher.

I like my MRRs. I posted a couple pictures in the photo/video forum. They're hyper silver, but the pics will give you an idea of what they'll look like (stock ride height). If you want BMW centercaps, you'll have to find some smaller ones online, as the stock ones are too big (need to do this myself, have to go measure the new cap size though)

My ultimate wheel look for the 1 series in my opinion is Advan RZ, but I can't justify $1000 a wheel, and the MRRs look pretty similar.

If you do go with the MRR wheels, I would keep the stock size rear tires. At least if you're planning on running Michelin PSS. I bought my PSS's a year before buying the MRR's and went with 225/40/18 (front) and 255/35/18 (rear). The rears will rub over big dips in the road at freeway speeds. I originally went with the hyper silver MRR's. After a few months, I felt it was too bright (they look great on NorthwestN54's with the non shadowline trim). I ended up plastidipping mine to see what they'd look like in an anthracite color, instead of spending $500 to have them stripped/powdercoated. I'll end up having these powercoated in a titanium finish.

Not sure on what suspension, but it should be 18x8.5 ET45/18x9.5 ET50 with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires most likely.
