Question about BMW Performance front splitters

Can you install these on the standard M-sport bumper that comes on the 135i or do you need to have the BMW Performance bumper?

My understanding is that they only fit the performance bumper, which appears to be flat on the bottom. The M Sport bumper has a radius curve on the bottom.
