Downpipes and midpipes w/ stock axleback?
Hey, has anyone run aftermarket downpipes (catless or high flow catted) and catless midpipes with the stock axleback with their n54 135i?
If the axle-back isn't too restrictive I've got a buddy who wants to keep it on his car, and have that stealth factor and convenience of the jb4's CANflap feature. Thanks in advance!

Yea youtube is your best friend when it comes to hearing all the different exhaust set ups out there. Even though the sound isnt quite what it will be in real life, it still gives you and idea...

Heard it once underground with cat delete, aftermarket mid with resonator and OE axle-back. It sounds 100 to 120% louder than full stock, slighty raspy, and to me the volume is acceptable.

^ Mad? I wasn't being a smartass or anything, just trying to help out someone who can't use the search button. I love it when the word "kid" comes up, it just screams "immaturity" but sure, I'll play along. By the way gramps, a midpipe won't do much in the sound department, so regardless of what video's i posted, it will sound identical with or without an aftermarket midpipe .

Yes, i am aware if you just swap out just the midpipe's, it will be louder then stock, but if you put a downpipe with a larger diameter midpipe, it will only slightly be louder, but downpipes make the most difference in terms of sound / performance. So if the OP want's sound clips of cars with both downpipe / midpipe installed, just turn up the volume slightly, and he has his answer.
